The case for Obama

He saved the US auto industry. He rescued the banks. He brought the financial system back from the brink of meltdown. He got us out of Iraq. He made the world hate us less. He reformed a terrible health care system. He passed financial reform. He got hundreds of thousands of CO2-spouting cars off the road, forever. He pushed through a stimulus that is changing how America approaches energy and education (unfortunately, he sold it as a jobs bill.) We have not been attacked. And Michelle has an organic garden in the back yard of the White House.

Wow - you almost made me forget he tripled the deficit, eliminated our constitutional freedom to buy health care as we see fit, destroyed GM, has worsened race relations, put the full machinery of the federal government against a state that simply wants the Feds to enforce their own law, effectively destroyed the housing market which is in endless free fall, seeks to destroy what is left of US manufacturing with idiotic cap and trade, seeks to raise federal taxes on every US citizen, created a "green industry" where all the jobs are in China, promotes an electoral system based on cheating (like his adopted hometown of Chicago, where corruption is a virtue and the only vice is noticing corruption) and pretty much ending all serious private industry through regulations that would make Jonathan Swift and Karl Marx proud. The case for Obama is very solid if your goal is Cuba in America. If you have a brain, you can easily see this pathetic media created affirmativen action boy is a total zero and is dragging the US down to his level of competence. Other than all this, he is the Savior that we were told. Yes he did.

Aren't you the guy who said the iPad would not have much impact? Your foresight in technology is as clear as your hindsight in politics. You really ought to start rethinking some of your basic positions, unless you just prefer being wrong. As women know, some men would rather drive the car off the cliff than admit a navigation error. The cliff is coming. Don't you have kids in the car?

I like Barack. He has helped our members be eligible to retire at 50 with guaranteed pensions equal to their salaries and lifetime paid for healthcare. These benefits are fair, and can easily be paid for by the suckers, I mean taxpayers in the private sector. If they have to work till they are 70 to pay for our pensions, that is a choice they made.

I like him much. He compliments me on my leisure suits. When he bows to me I think how much smarter he is than the stupid George Bush, who thought I was bad. He was so dumb. Now, I must get back to the nuclear reactor facility so our people can have much needed electricity. BTW, I don't hate all Jews - just the ones who are still alive.

The Hill Blog From Today

"POLL: Dislike of healthcare law crosses party lines, 1 in 4 Dems want repeal"

Interesting fact about an Obama accomplishment, where he "saved" us from a terrible system. Of course the bill he signed has barely even been read yet, and was not read at all by a single legislator who voted for it. Nancy Pelosi, said, "You have to pass the bill to find out what's in it." Of course this represents very advanced thinking to todays political geniuses. You can have a bill that nobody knows what's in it and a brilliant blogger says this unread bill "saves us" from a terrible system. In reality, the terrible system is the democracy we are evolving toward where Chicago political thuggery is accepted as "cool" and the Constitution is a worthless piece of paper. All this is a sad commentary on how stupid the supposedly smart people have become.

I notice my peer in Chile let a "crisis go to waste". By spending all his time trying to save the trapped miners he failed in the more important goal of public education and safety. He did not once chastise the Chilean coal industry as the heartless capitalists who are destroying the environment. This should have been his theme. With the world watching he could have immediately shut down the coal industry, and then given daily lectures on how carbon based energy is killing people. Instead, this weak leader focused on saving a measly 33 men (mostly white Christians) when he could have been saving the world!

And all the talk of God by the miners after the rescue should have been prohibited. Public funds were used. Separation of church and state in today's age forbids individuals from expressing ideas that our not religion-neutral when crisis occur. Of course, they could have mentioned me.

Obama's biggest achievement is showing all of America what happens when you give full government power to radical authoritarians who don't like the US as founded. This painful two year experiment taught those among us capable of learning that leftists are incredibly incompetent despite their high self esteem. Lesson learned

Well-stated! I love the detractors who claimed he "tripled the deficit" as if it's his fault he walked into a shrinking GDP and automatic stabilizers that were kicking in to help soften the impact. I suppose he could have tried to cut spending like Hoover did and watch GDP tank even further.
