6 Things People Have Said About My New Haircut

“Nice haircut.”

“Did you get your hairs cut?”

“Trendy.”

“High and tight.”

“Signing up for the military?”

“You got your hair cut.”

I just thought I’d pass these along because my haircut has gotten an unusual amount of commentary.

I know this has nothing to do with advertising. Although I would say hair is an important part of this industry. Look at Alex Bogusky and Richard Kirshenbaum.

If you have any thoughts on my haircut, please weigh in.

4 Reasons I Hated 'A Serious Man'

1. It's slow. It makes 'The Man Who Wasn't There' seem like 'Transformers'.

2. Michael Stuhlbarg is as compelling as moonlight on putty.

3. The plot (or lack of it) makes 'No Country For Old Men' seem as convoluted as 'The Manchurian Candidate.'

4. Now I understand why the Coen Brothers are directing commercials.

5 Things I Learned Making a Documentary

1) It’s hard to hold interest for 30 minutes. It’s hard for a 30-second commercial. Hell, it’s hard for a 100-word blog post. A documentary is really hard.

2) You film it, then find a theme – not the other way around.

3) It’s all about the editing.

4) There’s no craft service on a documentary.

5) I want a Porsche.
